ERUDIT Nodes: |
ERUDIT terminated on December 21, 2000 after 6 rather successful years of activities. To document the most valuable achievements of ERUDIT, this final website has been produced. It contains details on all ERUDIT activities: the ERUDIT Roadmap, the ERUDIT online-demos, proceedings and reports of ERUDIT events, a list of ERUDIT publications, case studies and other valuable information. This website also contains the database of ERUDIT Members - ECUME, which was valid at the time of termination of the network. As this final website will not be updated, we do not take any responsibility for the correctness of the information given in ECUME, because their addresses might have changed in the meantime. We thank all those, who have helped ERUDIT to become so successful by participating in the network activities. If you have any request for information concerning past activities of ERUDIT, please feel free to contact ELITE and your request will be satisfied. |

The new Network of Excellence EUNITE: Past discussions in the framework of ERUDIT on the future of the network have shown that there is a need of developing more synergies with Neural Networks or Machine Learning as well as with traditional branches like Applied Statistics or newer ones like Genetic and Evolutionary Computing. This lead to the idea of creating a new network joining together the research and applications in the area of Computational Intelligence. A contract for such a new network - EUNITE: The European Network on Intelligent Technologies for Smart Adaptive Systems - has already been signed by the European Commission.
